Adrenal Fatigue and its Homeopathic Restore
A Guest Post by Dr. Neha Vijayakar (The Author)
Because Stress is so mean (and also extremely smart), it directly attacks that part of your system which monitors the harmony of our physiology- the Neuro-Endocrine Axis. To explain simply, your Hypothalamus and all the Endocrine Glands are at the mercy of its unforgiving ways.
To set the ball rolling, Stress makes its presence felt first in the two tiny, deceptively less-important glands called the Adrenals.

Conducting Research in Clinic
A Guest Post by Dr. Saurav Arora (The Author)
There has been a gain in momentum in homoeopathic research in last few decades as evident from various research studies and publications but we as clinicians have a long way to pursue when it comes to research in Homeopathy, but majority of times, we are not very sure what, when and how to start it. The presentation is all about an overview of possibilities of integration of research and clinical Homoeopathy.
Respiratory Diseases – An Overview
A Guest Post by Michael Ravitsky of FactoryPure.com
Millions of people have chronic respiratory issues, and this article will explain the basics of the most common ones. The big idea with respiratory diseases is a hypersensitivity to foreign particles that are not inherently dangerous;our body has a natural mechanism for dealing with harmful things we may breathe in, such as bacteria, viruses, and fungal spores. The inflammatory response is a set of physiological processes meant to quarantine or destroy foreign irritants; this response may involve swelling, mucus production, and the stimulation of antibodies via a neurotransmitter and an antigen called Histamine.
Homeopathic Treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
Guest Post Written by Dr. Navneet Bidani (The Author)
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) has been an officially recognized illness since 1980 and it may be defined as the development of significant anxiety, fear, helplessness and horror after exposure (experienced or witness) to trauma, defined as an event associated with either actual or threatened death or injury to oneself or another. Individuals experience associated symptoms of detachment and loss of emotional responsivity. The patient may feel de-personalized and unable to recall specific aspects of the trauma, though typically it is re-experienced through intrusions in thoughts, dreams, or flashbacks, particularly when cues of the original event are present.
Research Studies in support of Nosodes -
Hahnemann introduced nosodes in 1828 (psorinum). Nosodes constitutes less than 4% of all homeopathic medicines listed in homeopathic pharmacopoeia. Nosodes are not a routine prescription and are generally prescribed in chronic conditions in 200c potency or above.
Upto the end of 2012, there have been 11 research (human) studies including 4 DBRPCT published in 6 peer-reviewed journals in evidence of 9 nosodes.

Meta Analysis and Systematic Reviews -
The first meta analysis of a medical treatment was published in 1955. The first meta analysis in evidence of homeopathy was published in 1991.
Upto the end of year 2010, there have been 11 meta-analysis and 8 systematic reviews including 1 cochrane review (out of approximately 20 systematic reviews published) published in 14 peer-reviewed medical journals in evidence of homeopathy.
Out of 11 meta analysis, 5 are comprehensive, 5 on specific medical condition and 1 on super-avogadro dilution effect. These 19 studies are part of the total 270 human studies in evidence of homeopathy upto the end of 2010.
